MaximB Failsafe Brakes are Spring Applied Failsafe, Hydraulic Applied Service Brakes (SAFHAS). Both braking mechanisms are enclosed in the same housing and are sealed and liquid cooled, working on the principal of oil shear between the rotating and stationary components.

NCS Engineering have over the past few years been involved in manufacturing purpose built personnel transporters for the mining industry. In addition, we have assisted several mines with Toyota rebuilds and have developed and manufactured a 20 seater personnel transport trailer to be used by mines with their own tow vehicles, increasing their plant utilisation and offering a cheaper alternative to getting personnel to their place of work.
